Mark discovered an amazing secret – one that changed his life – and is dedicated to sharing the good news. Mark previously owned a leasing company and first travel overseas was on a company fishing trip to the Amazon River in Brazil. After the fishing trip he stayed and met some local ladies and what he experienced overseas changed his expectations for love, passion, and beauty forever. Soon after he began to date overseas with the intention of finding a life partner; he succeeded and married Anna Astafieva, from Nikolaev Ukraine. But he wasn’t the only one. Several friends found their life partners overseas and encouraged him to write a book about their discovery.
Since that first book was published in 2009 “Mastering the Adventure of International Dating” (Amazon.com: http://a.co/8ZZooe2) he and Anna have appeared on Dr. Phil, The TODAY Show, Women’s Entertainment Network, and conducted over 50 radio interviews. Mark and Anna now host groups of men on “Quest Tours” with their company, Dream Connections, with an 80% success rate.
Anna grew up in the town of Nikolaev, Ukraine, as Anna Astafieva. She has four generations of family there and openly declares that she would not have left if she could have found a faithful, family oriented man in her home town. She graduated high school at age 16 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in fashion. She worked and managed a crew at a local clothing factory and was asked to participate as a runway model for the company once or twice a month. Her boss at the factory was the one who suggested she might want to sign up with the ‘marriage agency’. She took her bosses’ advice and the rest is history.
Mark and Anna now work together to help good men from the West meet sincere women from Ukraine, Colombia, and Thailand – and aggressively combat the mail order bride stereotype myths.
In the years that followed their introduction Mark wrote a book and they have both been featured on cable TV shows, The TODAY Show with Matt Lauer, and more. When they first considered hosting their own introduction events, they took a hard look at the way things were being done and saw the need for something more authentic. Something that was truly focused on helping good men find a spouse and eliminating the bad eggs from both sides.
Dream Connections is the realization of that dream.
"It has been very rewarding to see that our ideas have proven to work. Men who go on our tours are finding themselves connecting deeply with sincere women in Ukraine", Mark said. "We know that these trips cost money and take time away from careers. It just makes sense to create a system that maximizes that opportunity to make lasting connections. Our clients do not see this as a vacation, but a quest to find their queen!"
I recommend meeting ladies there with a company you trust to know the ladies and only work with marriage-minded men and women. I also suggest not writing letters or emails online. That's where the fraud happens and you have no way to verify anything from across the sea. My company, www.DreamConnections.com, only offers in-person romance tours. We have helped create more than 300 married with less than 1% divorced. I hope you'll take a look at what we're doing. Mark
Well , I found something interesting on VK : Dream singles

A set of models for a marriage agency - the advantages of working with us:
- good income
- gifts from men (no matter what - money, telephone, flowers - are divided between the agency, translator, model)
- to prepare documents for you will take up to 1 hour and we will start working
- salary payments - monthly - to a bank card
- if the girl - in fact, wants to meet with a foreign man - we organize everything - a restaurant, apartments. If not, then the meeting will not be - because the information is all up to the last moment remains confidential. No comments…!!
Onlinedating is a minefield and unexperienced people will fail and maybe waste time and money. But you don´t offer a better alternative. Your agency costs a lot of money and even you cannot give even a 25% guarantee this will work out. I met my asian gf online and i we will marry this year and start a family. Instead of your speeddating - style we had long time with chatting and videocall and shared our lives online- before met in real first time. You don`t offer this, coz it would ruin your business.
- Yes,But in England; I'd Like to play a part in getting the unlawfull BBC licence fee scrapped,Because the BBC (Broadcasting,Brainwashing Corporation), is Tooo Left wing & it misleads viewers & Tells viewers Tooo Many Lies.... :(
Excellent review and very honest testimonial. You are absolutely right about how wonderful of a culture they are and how excellent they are as soulmates for those seeking traditional fulfilling marriages. Thanks for this video!
I wish that were true. The problem isn't about translating the words - it's always about the context and use of slang or colloquialisms. Also, people make wrong assumptions many time - sometimes based on negative bias and others from lack of cultural context. The simplest example is when I use it to create notes in Russian. I want to say something to a friend, but it always uses the formal versions of the words as if we were strangers or just acquaintances. It could be taken as an offense or a belief that you just put the girl in the "friend zone". Other times, the problem is with our own pre-conceived notions and wounds from past hurts. For instance, one woman apologized to her man that she couldn't Skype with him for the next 3 days because he computer was in the shop. He was afraid of scammers and read into it that she was asking him to buy her a new computer. He became angry and blew the relationship out of the water for no reason. That's not a Google error, it's the problem with trusting text-based communications for relationships. If you want to test the accuracy of Google Translate, just have a foreign speaker send you translated notes through Google Translate. About 1 in 20 words aren't even translated because they are slang - other times Google assumes a meaning and is wrong. The best way to communicate between people of different languages is with a human translator. However, if you must use Google Translate, do it with light topics and be prepared to have a good laugh with her when it's wrong.
I am from sri lanka and i have a my original profile on Anastasiadate. + I also opened a fake profile using my other email and appeared as a US citizen together with fake photos. The investigation was successful ! Both accounts received "same letters" in "same time" ))
Great, information, sir. You are spot on. I've been through the agencies, and I've been to Ukraine several times (I'm meeting my fiance there for the third time in October), and I wish I would have known ALL OF THIS years ago, because it takes alot of time and money to find out what is actually happening behind-the-scenes. And I bet you I can guess exactly "which big agency" you are talking about. Guys, if you are serious about International dating, this is the best 10 minute crash video I've seen.
E um absurdo tais situações chegar a esse ponto brincar com os sentimentos se for assim metralhadora neles se não tenho dó de ninguém pra que ter do de vagabundos que situação desagradável eu não tenho dó desse tipos de personagens
All those types of dating sites (scam or otherwise) are geared towards men meeting women. What about the women that want to meet foreign men? I tried a matchmaker service once overseas (a legitimate one), but they were interested in women of child bearing age only. That makes it difficult for us women who are not interested in having more children and are wanting a partner. So what to do in that case?
If you're an older guy talking to a much younger woman in Dominican republic , she is probably scaming you, and alot of these scams are long term , it may take years to reveal itself. Be careful with these bitches, it happened to a friend of mine.
That was really a great video and thanks for sharing your ideas and knowledge.. I think the best way is to have a video call not a video chat, I had video calls with few from UK,US, Canada and Netherlands though it didn't materialise but they were all wonderful people..btw do you think it's a risk to reveal the phone number? I did it many times and still do so that I can have a video call in whatsapp..
I am clearly no expert like the man in the video, but just based on my online experiences in general I personally wouldn't recommend revealing your personal phone number. When there are several other apps out there now that can be used for video chatting/calls where you do not need to provide/show a phone number, then I would be apt to go with one that asks you simply for a user name. I have not had the chance to try it out myself yet, but I have heard good things about google's newer one, duos is it? If i have that name wrong I promise I will come back to edit my comment LOL. Either way, I sincerely hope that you have success soon!😃

Let's give you guys some home truths. If you can't get a woman in your home country, what makes you think you can get one in Ukraine? Unless, you think the only thing going for you is that you are richer than her - in which case you will only attract the goldminers interested in your wealth. You're better off thinking why you can't a wife back home and do something about it!
Scammers ruined online dating. But in the early days of the internet it was good. I used to meet people all the time. These days your talking to robots and other fake profiles. Probably ten bots to every one real girl.
1. I'm a 38-year-old American male, who has never been married, yet has been through the ringer with relationships. I've an inkling of how people work. I think people--men especially--need to understand that, like most of life, human relations are transient. There is no permanency, in any of it. *That was the single most difficult lesson for me to learn.* I honestly don't understand why a Western man would want to get married, to anyone, foreign or domestic. You have to be comfortable enough in your own skin, to love yourself, alone or not. People ask if I'm lonely and I respond with, "I am alone, but not lonely."
2. The West has been reengineered to be the pinnacle of transiency and is becoming increasingly matriarchal. To that end, the overall cost of sex has gone down, considerably; why buy the cow, when you can basically have the milk, for free? Conversely, why go through all of the hassle and expense of importing an Eastern woman? Marriage used to be a vehicle for sex, but no longer. No one needs to be married, in the West. There is no obligation to have children. At the risk of sounding trite: Those who cannot adapt to their surroundings DIE, psychologically or physically. It's that simple. If you cannot adapt, MOVE THERE. Learn the language, ingratiate yourself into the culture, THEN marry the girl. If you don't give up, you'll most likely be resented by the locals, who will always see you as an outsider. Good luck.
3. Women are great, even Western women, with their inflated egos. They're still fun to be around. And that's what it should be: FUN. When it stops being lighthearted and fun, move on, because she will. *Remember, it's transient.* Women and 'Alpha' males inherently know this, that's why they get along so well. Yet the majority of men--what you might call 'Beta' males--do not; it is ingrained within them to be emotionally needy providers. Society heavily reinforces this, because a glut of Betas are needed, to keep it running. Women have a dualistic mating strategy, termed Hypergamy. Research it. Start with Rollo Tomassi's book, "The Rational Male".
4. I've been through the "women suck" phase. They don't suck... Well, some of them do... ;) I've been watching a slew of these foreign online dating scam videos. There is a recurring theme: there is so much expectation and pent up negative emotion, within these men who look abroad. It's desperation, and no one--man or woman--wants desperation. If you look at these men, physically, which is a mirror of their psychology, you'll notice that many of them don't even take care of themselves. You can argue the same about many Western women, and I would agree with you, but you cannot find external love without self-love. Just as a man does not need to settle with a woman who doesn't take care of herself, so too is the inverse.
You are spot-on, i believe. Almost everything about us humans and our sometimes perplexing behaviors can be figured out with some basic study of psychology (as you have just shown in this particular case).
If only the many, many victims of these foreign relationship scams would take a bit of time and effort to really think thoroughly about the points you presented in your comment, i suspect we would see a lot more men and women who felt satisfied with their relationships(however long/not long term). Unfortunately, we are one majorly COMPLEX species lol...and so many don't even give a fleeting thought to analyzing what could be causing their lack of success this way because the impulse to react on purely emotion is ingrained into them.
I have always been absolutely INTRIGUED by the study of clinical psychology, and even just plain physical neurology. Even though relationships of a romantic nature involve so much of an emotional factor, i still think that above all, using objective LOGIC is what you need to do when becoming involved in one! Also particularly after a string of failed ones!
Anyway, I am merely rambling now LOL...but I just wanted to say that I thought it was great to finally see an actual fresh perspective on this "old as time" issue, and I love that you shared it! Cheers from Canada!😃
Best advice, look for Ukrainian women who already live in your country.Go to the Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate in your country to ask if there are legitimate cultural associations of Ukrainians in your country. Try to become a member of such associations, mingle with the people and you will enventually make valuable friendships, and find a wife in the end. All this for free, without spending a dime and without being scammed and without having to use a Ukrainian marriage agency or online dating site that cater to Ukrainian brides.
I been going through this someone ask for a friend request and i expected but few days told me he wants to send me gift i was a bit confused about in meanwhile he start telling me he lost money can you help me $200
It is quite odd; but yes, some do start off with offering a gift or 2, a date, etc. Then when they see that they can not scam you, they will try to find ways to get back what they have spent. I have learned a lot from Tinder scammers. Joke is on them though. I am just as broke as they are.
Jeddia Jones Dream Connections is an ethical, responsible, successful -(it works). Are you criticising Mark @Dream Connections? STOP BOTHERING ME! You are EXACTLY the type of "butt hurt" "agenda driven" feminist that MGTOW warns us good men ABOUT! Happy TROLLING to you "DEAR!"😁🤣😉
I like businesses like yours and Diolli, but the one thing that keeps me away is the cost. I may have to just say screw it, and use your or Diolli's service anyway, because I really want a change.
From my research there doesn't seem to be any PPL sites that are legit, but I would say you have to question even the ones that don't do PPL. There is one I joined that's been around for a long time, and just has a membership fee, but the women almost never respond positively. Sometimes when they do, they end up ghosting you when you reply. This doesn't seem within the realm of statistics to me.
There are also women on these sites that are professional girlfriends, that string along multiple men at once. These would be harder to detect, before you got emotionally invested in them.
I fell for those scams. Paid $5 per letter from a woman who i thought was sending me a letter. It was not real. :( Tried to date locally using those dating apps. Again fake profiles trying to scam me. :(
I would go to Ukraine now but the timing is not right. Financially. Once i get in the right zone with my investments i will be spending months in Ukraine. I really hope to make it to the April 2018 Kherson tour.
There are some good sites out there IF you really look for them. Most of the large ones are in fact, scams.
i met my Russian wife back in 2012 on a dating site just like Match. Except of course you can't go and have a cup of coffee with them any time you please. The site I was on had more realistic photos of women (which I liked much better really) and the letters you wrote were delivered right to the ladies, untranslated. It was also a monthly fee to join and it included everything at a very reasonable price. As soon as we decided to get to know each other better we went to Skype. After a month or two of talking each day I went to see her in Moscow. I paid for her ticket to Moscow but sent her the ticket, not the money!:) We are happily married since 2013 and she lives here in the US with me.
Had Dream Connections been around back then I might have used them. The moral of the story is, do your homework! Some women are there to scam you but some actually want to marry and you will be very happy indeed. Most do not want to leave their country but, if they find a man they love and respect they will move to be with them. The biggest thing is to get on a plane and go to Ukraine or Russia! Meeting them in person is the only way to truly know them. You can stay in Ukraine for 90 days without a visa, so spend some time with them. Russia you will have to get a visa to visit there.
PS: Learn some Russian phrases they will help you! When I first met my wife we were heading to the metro station but didn't know where it was. So I asked a woman we passed (in Russian) where it was, my wife loved that!
I think the same goes with online dating sites where you chat in real time. Unless you can see the lady you're chatting to via webcam (and being charged an exorbitant fee for it!) you cannot guarantee that you're chatting live with the woman in the photos in the profile. Beware guys! Enjoy all your hard work Mark.
biddyjohnson1948 - Nope. Not true. Ask any one of our men who have actually been on a tour and they'll tell you the truth. I saw the post you're talking about and it's a fake. We never had a guy by that name on a tour in 2015 and his details are wrong. He's obviously never been on a tour with us. We've had a few competitors do things like this in the past. I can get you on the phone with real men who have been there, but I'm glad you asked. Mark
All the bad feedback from these international dating companies comes from people who wrote letters, not the ones who got on a plane. Even the company "A Foreign Affair" tells their customers not to write letters. They tell their customers to just get on a plane and go. BUT THEY STILL OFFER LETTER WRITING SERVICES! Props to you Mark for not offering those services at all.
John Adams of AFA deploys the PPL scam for two reasons: 1. It makes a lot of money by itself. (Why mess with something that's making money?) and 2. It lures guys to their tours where they do in fact meet real women, not necessarily the ones they've been 'writing' to. For more on this and other scams visit my site scamaware.net
I was never tricked , i used the right companies or methods , i dated 6 Ukrainian women before i met the one and only , (happily married since 2015 and never been more happy ) i did a lot of research before i started dating , one of the 6 i met was a golddigger , the rest where sincere , but circumstances or chemistry wasent right , each and every one trip was cheaper than a dream connection trip , but all together way more expensive and not to forget about all my efford and feelings involved (dated a girl for half a year without succes , its a long story , she wanted me , but circumstances was terrible )
Should i chose today , i would without doubt chose Marks Bureau , DC , i have seen a lot of his videos and its clearly that its a great model for succes in dating .
By the way , two of my collegaues have benefitet from all my defeats and experience , one is about to merry the other is already married , what we all have in common ? The way we cherish our Ukrainian women .
Ps . Mark , you clearly have your heart with you , in what you are doing, your key to succes , keep up the good job 👍🏻
Excuse me my bad english
Bo from Denmark
The Ukraine is the worst for scamming and the chat is worse as the chat requests from them are so vulgar. Formerly I was with AFA and planed a trip with them and so wrote some ladies. I would get letters in return which with a good response. Then I would receive a letter that said I was too old. So the translator was doing this as it a"FORM" type all of them the same. This male that works at AFA, Patterson, is a sexist jerk and talks down to clients . I am not fan of the Ukrainian women as most of them want to live in a large city, like NY or LA which leaves me out. DC does good but they focus on the Ukraine and they all about that and do not do much for TH or CO. They make the decision on who get to date.
Daniel: I appreciate your pain and bad experiences. Dream Connections did create a system focused on sincere local ladies and to those on the online sites, as you mentioned. One correction I'd like to mention is that we don't make any decisions on who guys date. They sit at a table and chat with 3 or 4 at a time for fifteen minutes. At the end of that the translator stays at the table for an extra minute to ask if any of the ladies would like to go on a date with the client. A lady who agrees must offer her phone number in her own handwriting. The client judges his own personal chemistry and looks at who gives phone numbers to decide who to date. We are not part of that decision making process at all. Our statistics are that 80% of our clients start a new and sincere relationship by the end of their tour. Additionally, we've had over 240 men and women married with no divorces. We're doing something different. http://www.DreamConnections.com
Dream Connections That is the main POINT. Different Dating sites CHANGE, USELESS to name name's - like the "Wack-A-Mole" game - as FAST as you CAN knock moles head DOWN - ANOTHER Mole head pops UP to hit! You CAN'T handle or KEEP up with it - too MANY "Mole Heads" to "Whack!"
OK - I will open up the dialog right here and right now. Please, would everyone reading this write in the name of the website that has acted just as I described. Please name the companies you've been ripped off by. Name the ones who have behaved this way. I don't have personal experience with other websites as a customer, but I'd welcome everyone to write in and name names.
Josh and everyone, gees all I was doing was pimping Mark a bit. I am an alumni of the July '16 tour in Nicolaev. Prior to going on the tour, I went through all the training -- even though unlike most of the tour participants I did not need to be told how to be a man or had trouble getting dates here in the US. Had a wonderful time, met many beautiful women, dated a few -- nothing worked out. Enjoyed learning a bit about Ukrainian culture. Have subsequently made two trips to Ukraine to see a lady via a different agency. Time will tell how things turn out.
I know the Ukraine from close and indeed all this SCAM is just messing it up for the real genuine people. Guys are basically emotionally hijacked and NLP is used in which you fall into this magical world of illusion (fairy-tale). Oops, guys have too much expectations and this turns out into deception. The best way is indeed: GET YOURSELF ON THE PLANE and GO meet her personally. Do not dilly dally, besides all your said: Online Dating Scam has entered version 3.0 and this is worse than the tricks already know.
Best advice I can give. Visit Ukraine and enjoy the culture before engaging into any relationship. Once you know the culture, traditions and values then you should think twice on what you are really looking for and then act. Whether you go with a tour or personal tour, it does not matter but make sure you did your homework. And last but not least, learn some Russian or Ukrainian.
The men are not interested in Ukrainian culture, the language, or history.
They are interested in a transaction: wealth transfer for monopoly access to the woman's body.
To think that all Ukrainians are simple, not playing games, with high moral values is total nonsense.
Dating apps kind of suck — just ask anyone between the ages of 21 and 35. Despite this, they’ve become the normal way to meet people and ask them out. This puts many of us in a difficult position. Because everyone else is using dating apps, it’s tough to avoid using them ourselves. It’s a self-perpetuating cycle.
To help you navigate the deluge of dating apps flooding the market, we’ve picked some of the best dating apps, as well as some of those that bring something unique to the table. And if that wasn’t enough, we’ll also offer our expert opinions on their accessibility, foibles, pratfalls, best intended uses, and everything else in between. Hopefully, Cupid’s arrow is in your favor!
